Description

Introducing a brand new line of subwoofers is something Incriminator Audio hasn’t done in a while. We decided that 2008 would be the year for change. This year IA introduces the DR, short for Death Row. The DR line fills in the power handling gap that is between the LI and the DP. The DR is geared as much toward SQ as it is SPL, so this would be considered by many to be the ultimate SQL woofer. Like all other lines of IA products, the DR comes STOCK “fully loaded”.

    great daily driver

Have the original death row 15", with the IA badge logo not the new one, in a 4 cuft box tuned ~ 34hz filling the whole trunk of a 2001 crown Vic police interceptor. It was loud and sounded great from day 1 but it was finally review–worthy when it fully broke in.

This sub is just dumb accurate and blends perfectly where the front speakers are crossed over. Used to complain about big low-end monster subs not keeping up with the mids up front, which makes a huge difference in overall perceived sound quality, but that's no longer an issue. Only sub that I've owned that can play too low to hear (sub 30hz) and high enough to blend with the mids (80hz crossover), all while being accurate and loud.

For the first time in car audio I am no longer searching for that extra sound that's missing. Even though the price tag isn't perfect, this sub will not disappoint and it certainly sets the standard for my expectations of subwoofer performance anywhere near this price level.

    Impressive

I'm impressed. My last system consisted of a Brahma 15 fed by Orion 2500D. I now (as of 2 hours ago) am running a single 15 Death Row D2 at 1 ohm on a BRE1600 in 3.5 tuned to roughly 32hz...and now I'm left wondering whether I REALLY screwed up the Brahma install, or Incriminator makes that stellar of a woofer. Strong strong bottom end, punch in the chest and carries itself musically extremely well. I have yet to EQ it but I am so pleased with it thus far. Would recommend to anyone that asks.
Build quality is absolutely flawless, solid and sexy.

    Super tough woofer

I have two of these, they sound damned good and get loud as hell on the right power. Put these subs in a ported box in the 3-4cu ft. range and they really shine. These beasts easily take twice their rated RMS power and are capable of massive output and great sound.
