Solid Subs

Posted by Joseph K on 8th Mar 2022

I bought 2 of these the April 28th 2021 got them a couple days later and built a box for them, gave them some time to break in then went ham on them. They are still going strong till this day. Box I made for them is 4.5ft3 after all displacements, tuned to 32hz with 63in2 of port area.

I broke them in on a Sundown SAE-2000D for a couple months of daily use, then, stuck a Taramps Smart 3 bass on them and they ate all that power up wanting more. Now running a Taramps Smart 3 Bass on each sub clamped at 2k to each sub daily for a couple months now. 149.3dbs at the kick with a peak of 40hz on s SPL lab mini bass meter at 14.2 volts in a Dodge Avenger.

These are some banger budget subs,

    Exceeded my expectations

Posted by Brian on 26th Apr 2018

I was told that these would perform better for me with my current setup than my sundown SA12S, I had no idea by so much though. At only 3/4 they already out perform the SAs, I can only imagine what they'll do at full tilt!! And they're $40 cheaper lol!!

    Great product. Great price tag.

The AB XFL's surprised me. Upon pulling the subs out of the box I was extremely happy with my purchases. The subs go lower than i expected, and they get loud and clear. I looked at every sub/subs combo under the sun, and for the price my XFLs are hard to beat. Do your research, but keep these subs in mind. Great service, quick, great packaging, great product. Im more than happy with the way i purchased and received my products.

Posted by Trent on 6th Feb 2018

Although I had a few issues on my shipping SSA did take care of the problem for me good service, these subs hit hard for 12's they get low and they get loud, they have some big fat magnets and you will need some good bracing for these badboys,5 star rating.

Man this is one bad sub, can't believe how hard it hit's and how low it get's.I have it on 2000 true watts and slowly breaking it in and it's going off the chain already, can't wait until it's loose enough to turn loose.
